Billing

All appointments are charged at the time of booking. On confirming and paying for your appointment, you are accepting our terms and conditions.

Cancellation

Please cancel or reschedule your appointment more than 48 hours prior to your booked time.

Cancellation please via your online booking confirmation email, text (0412 691 077) or by email (info@thefoodmc.com.au) stating your name and the appointment you wish to cancel/reschedule.

Short notice cancellation/reschedule or no show

If you do not attend an appointment OR cancel/reschedule less than 48 hours prior to the your booked time, the full consultation/booking fee will apply unless there are extenuating circumstances (as determined by The Food Mind Collaboration) e.g. an accident or serious medical emergency requiring hospitalisation, or an illness resulting in diminished capacity to communicate effectively. Supporting evidence of such cases will be required to process refunds.

Rebates

Medicare rebates only apply to dietetic services and not to hypnotherapy services. You must have a valid GP referral to be eligible for a Medicare rebate. If eligible, the rebate will be processed after your consultation. If Medicare is unable to pay the rebate for any reason, you will be responsible for the full fee paid.

Some Private Health Funds offer extras cover for hypnotherapy services. There may be limits on what conditions will be covered. Please check with your provider if you are covered for your presenting condition. If you are eligible for Private Health Fund cover, you will be responsible for liaising with your private insurance provider to claim your rebate. If your insurer is unable to pay the rebate for any reason, you will be responsible for the full fee paid.
